Easy Lift has strengthened its line of electric tracked platforms with the RA31BA, a new lithium-powered version of its popular RA31 model. This launch marks a significant step in the company's commitment to the green transition.
The development of this fully electric platform was driven by a collaboration with MtandT, Easy Lift's exclusive dealer in India and a leading player in the region's aerial platform rental and sales market. The project aimed to meet the growing demand for sustainable equipment, resulting in a machine that will be marketed and sold globally.
The RA31BA was officially unveiled at the end of September at GIS 2025 in Piacenza, highlighting Easy Lift's focus on technologically advanced and eco-friendly solutions.
RA31BA: Zero Emissions, Familiar Performance
The new Battery-Powered (BA) model retains all the key features that have made the RA31 a best-seller:
Working Height: 30.2 m
Horizontal Reach: 14.5 m
Maximum Working Radius: 15 m
Down & Over Reach: -7 m
Weight: 4,100 kg
Compact dimensions in both stowed and stabilized positions.
The shift to lithium-ion power ensures silent, zero-emission operation, making the platform ideal for use in sensitive indoor and outdoor environments like airports, shopping malls, museums, and banks. The lithium battery provides enough power for a full day's work, features fast charging, and allows the platform to be used even while plugged in, ensuring operational continuity and high productivity.
First Units Destined for India
The first production batch of 20 RA31BA units is headed for the Indian market. Ten will join the rental fleet of MtandT, while the other ten have been acquired by Sanghvi Movers Limited, another major rental company in the country.
A Growing Green Portfolio for the Global Market
The RA31BA demonstrates Easy Lift's ability to translate market needs into innovative products. Born from a specific customer request, this model is designed to offer customers worldwide a platform that combines technology, sustainability, and performance, aligning with the green transition reshaping the lifting industry.
Soon, the lithium battery (BA) version will also be available for the RA26 aerial platform, further expanding Easy Lift's range of zero-emission solutions for environmentally sensitive worksites.
